Celera Semiconductor announced that it had acquired SiliconGate, an analog-chip design business with offices in Lisbon and Porto. The release does not disclose the price or acquired equity percentage.
The transaction
Celera intends to expand the Portuguese team into a centre for analog design and delivery, combining SiliconGate's design capabilities with its own AI-assisted development technology. That expansion is a plan, rather than a completed operational milestone.
