CIRSA announced its acquisition of a majority in Sociedade Figueira Praia, the owner and operator of Casino Figueira.
The transaction
The casino in Figueira da Foz becomes CIRSA’s first Portuguese land-based casino. It complements the group’s CasinoPortugal.pt online operation acquired in December 2024.
CIRSA says the acquisition is funded from existing cash and is not expected to materially affect leverage. Neither price nor an exact acquired percentage is provided.
