What happened

The related-party transfer covers 1.8 GW of operating wind and solar capacity plus development activity. It moves the business within the EDP group, rather than constituting a sale to an outside investor.

The issuer stated approximately R$4.1bn in consideration, or €0.7bn at its assumed 6.0 EUR/BRL exchange rate, and about €1.5bn implied enterprise value. The May agreement anticipated closing by year-end 2026, subject to conditions.
