Nayak Aircraft Services acquired a controlling interest in Portugal's LAS Group. Founder João Louro remains a shareholder and continues as CEO of LAS Maintenance.
The transaction
The group includes LAS Maintenance, LAS Training and SLOT-Human Resources. Nayak says that the existing management, operational structure and brand will remain.
The acquisition expands the buyer's line-maintenance presence in Portugal and the wider Iberian market.
