TEKEVER acquired Edinburgh engineering company Flowcopter, adding hydraulic transmission technology for aerospace propulsion. The announcement states that Flowcopter's engineering presence will remain in Edinburgh under the TEKEVER brand.
The transaction
The companies had already collaborated on TEKEVER's AR6 systems. The buyer describes the acquisition as adding propulsion expertise for autonomous aircraft that carry heavier payloads over longer distances.
This is an outward acquisition by a Portuguese group of a UK target. The transaction's consideration was not disclosed.
